Kenya is known for its vibrant and lush forests, and for the numerous species that inhabit there. Our goal is to plant agroforestry trees, such as olive trees, as their roots create nutrient-rich soils that revive the ecosystem. These fruit and nut trees have root networks which hold the soil in place and are also very useful in preventing landslides which can endanger local communities and damage vital infrastructure. By planting trees in Kenya, you will also help ensure the livelihoods of local communities, as they benefit from the working opportunities that result from our projects!
