Tanzania is a beautiful country in Eastern Africa known for its biodiversity hotspots. However, its forests are threatened by logging, farmland encroachment and the mass cutting of trees for charcoal and firewood. We are working closely with our local planting partners to mobilise and empower the local Tanzanian community, and fight desertification. By planting trees such as the Jacaranda species in Tanzania you will be participating in promoting sustainable forestry and regenerating degraded forests! The Jacaranda creates beautiful scenery during the flowering season, attracting many local bird species back to the reforestation areas.
