Support farmers’ reforestation efforts in Peru!

Peru, located on the west coast of South America, has 60% of its territory covered by the Amazon rainforest. Since the early 2000s, 2 million hectares of forests have been cut down for logging. Our reforestation projects aim to recover the rich ecosystems and regenerate degraded woodlands. Our local partner is planting walnut, fig and shade-grown coffee species, native to the region. The revitalisation of ecosystems has allowed endangered species to retreat back into their natural environment! That is the case of the West Peruvian dove and the collared peccary. Isn't it great?
