Let’s green Madagascar together!

Madagascar is home to a vibrant ecosystem of over 200,000 species of plants and animals uniquely found on the island. However, the logging activity is threatening its amazing flora and fauna. Our project aims to reforest Madagascar by planting mangroves along waterways. The mangrove estuary can also serve as vital fish nurseries for the surrounding ocean. Dugongs and Hawksbill sea turtles have since returned to the Malagasy coast, feeding on seagrass and small fish! Various bird species have returned as well, including the endangered African sacred ibis.
